Satori automates a lot of the repeatative follow-up activities around bookings and pre-session prep. This article explains the main types of follow up that Satori does for you.
Booking confirmations
Booking confirmation emails are sent out to clients immediately after they complete a new booking or make changes to an existing booking (i.e. after cancelling or rescheduling a session).
These emails include the details of the booked session, your standard call instructions for the associated offer, as well as links to any associated questionnaire.
Session reminder emails
Satori automatically sends out reminder emails to your clients prior to every scheduled session. The content of these emails is very similar to the initial booking confirmation email. They include the session details, call instructions and links to any associated questionnaire.
The first reminder is sent out about 36 hours before the choosen session time, so your client has time to complete any associated questionnaire. The second reminder is sent a few hours prior to the session.
Pre-session questionnaires
You can optionally include pre-session questionnaires with any offers or agreements that you create. This is a great time saver when you want to collect some background information from your client prior to the session, or encourage them to consider what they’re wanting to get from their session before hand.
If you’ve included a questionnaire on your offer, Satori always includes links to it in the booking confirmation and reminder emails.

Scheduilng reminder emails
When you have clients signed up for multi-session coaching programs, they sometimes need
on a multi-session program
clients can also schedule sessions anytime by logging into their own account. however, sometimes these emails are more convenient as they include a link directly to the scheduling calendar for your client’s next session. So, they can get the session on the calendar in a couple of clicks, even if they don’t remember their login information.
Unlike the other reminder emails, scheduling reminders have to be enabled on a per-offer basis.
If you don’t want Satori to send these reminders
Note: these are different to the session reminder emails, which are always sent before each session.
