Let’s talk a little bit about how and when to use agreements when you’re signing on a new client.
There’s couple of different ways you can approach this, depending on the type of coaching you’re offering and your sales process:
- Have clients purchase packages via your website; or
- set up their agreements yourself manually.
Setting up the agreement yourself allows you to customise it for a particular client, and send them a personalised proposal which they can then view, and sign off on. This is a good way to follow up on a successful discovery session, when your client has agreed to begin coaching with you. It gives them a clear call-to-action and a smooth, professional experience when signing on as your client.
Sometimes though, you will want to create offers your clients can purchase and book directly, without any intervention on your part. In those cases, you can just post links to specific offers—or to your general Satori bookings page—on your website. Satori provides some simple linking code for each offer you create which you can just cut-and-paste onto your site to display an eye-catching booking button in a style of your choice.
there’s two ways to sign a client up:
- they book themselves in via an offer that you’ve created and posted online (this will automatically create an agreement)
- you create an agreement for them manually
- create an agreement
- setting up Agreements is very similar to setting up Offers, with a few small differences. If you haven’t already read the section on Creating Offers, please review that first, see the section on creating offers for
Your agreement does not take effect until it is activated. There’s two ways to have your agreement activated:
- Send it to your client for them to review and activate; or
- Activate it yourself.
Sending an Agreement Proposal
Use this option when you want to send a personalised proposal to a prospective coaching client. The proposal enables you to present a personalised welcome message to your client, along with your agreement terms.
This is
When you send an agreement proposal, your client has the opportunity to review your proposal and accept the terms. At that point, they’re able to complete their initial payment and schedule their first session.
