Questionnaires helps your client to get clear on what they want out of the coaching sessions, and show up ready to work.
If you choose to add a questionnaire to your offer, Satori includes a link to that questionnaire in the initial booking confirmation email that your client receives immediately after signing up for your offer, and also in the follow up reminder emails that Satori sends out before every coaching session.
Discovery versus agenda questionnaires
In a multi-session program, you will often want to give your client one set of prompts for their initial session and a different set of prompts for any follow up sessions. This is easy to accomplish with Satori because you can attach two different questionnaires to each coaching offer. The first questionnaire—called the Discovery Questionnaire—is sent out prior to the first session; while the other questionnaire—called the Agenda Questionnaire—is sent out for the remaining sessions.
Both these questionnaires are entirely optional, and can be changed for each individual offer or client.
Questionnaire options
Questionnaire selection
You can create and edit your questionnaires directly from the Offer Setup Wizard. If you have an existing questionnaire that you want to attach to your offer, just select it from the drop down menu. To create a new questionnaire for your offer, click Create New.
Name
Choose a brief, descriptive name for your questionnaire like Coaching Discovery Questions or Session Agenda. Your clients will see this name in the page title when they’re making their responses, so it’s important that the name be something that would make sense to clients.
Introduction
This is where you can provide a brief welcome message or instructions for your client as they complete the questionnaire. It appears at the top of the page, above your questions.
Email instructions
This text doesn’t appear on the questionnaire itself, but rather in the emails your client receives after making their booking. This is where you make the call to action for clicking through and completing the questionnaire. For example:
To get the most out of each coaching session, please take a moment to consider how you want to use your time with me. I invite you to consider the following questions prior to our session.
Email link text
This is the text of the button your client can click on in that email message to go to your questionnaire. Use a very short, action phrase like View Questionnaire.
Building your questionnaire content
On the opposite side of the screen are fields for you to enter your actual questions. Place each question in a separate field (Satori automatically adds an extra blank field for you each time you add a question, so you can just hit Tab on your keyboard to move your cursor to it, and keep typing.
You can change the order of questions by dragging them up or down on the page (click on the icon to the left of the question text field to drag it).
Once you’re done building your questionnaire, just click Save and Continue to add it to your offer.
