If you’ve entered an availability schedule on your calendar, but it’s not showing up when you try to book sessions, it’s most likely due to one of the following 4 reasons:
1. The availability type isn’t selected for the offer you’re booking
Check the Availability tab on the offer setup wizard and make sure that the checkbox is set for all appropriate types.
To apply availability to an offer:
- Navigate to your offer
- Click Edit
- Select the Availability tab
- Under Availability Types, select all the availability types that you want to use for this offer
- Click Save and Continue
You can check that the availability is set correctly by going to the Preview page in the offer setup wizard and then clicking the Choose Time step on the booking preview.
Note: If you have multiple availability types using the same (or a similar) colour, it can make it difficult to distinguish between them. Choose contrasting colours for all your availability types to make the selection more clear.
2. You have bookings or calendar events that are blocking out availability
Any appointments already on your calendar will cancel out times that would otherwise be available. For example, if you have availability from 12 PM to 4 PM, but you have a Google calendar event at 1 PM, Satori will subtract the time used by that event from your availability. There’s also a minimum notice period that applies (24 hours by default), during which clients can’t schedule. You can change that on your Scheduling Settings page.
Check the Sessions view on your calendar to see if this is the case.
3. Your availability periods are too short to accommodate the required session length
Satori only shows availability that is sufficient to fit the session that is being booked. For example, if your session length is 60 minutes, but your availability is only 45 minutes, it wont show up on the booking calendar. Check theSessions tab on the offer setup wizard and make sure the session length doesn’t exceed the length of your availability periods.
4. The availability is within your minimum notice period
Satori will not allow any bookings within your minimum notice period (this is 24 hours by default, but you can change it on the Scheduling Settings page.
Note: availability is managed on a per-offer basis. After you’ve added availability to your calendar, you need to explicitly associate that availability with each offer that you want to use it for.
