The calendar page combines availability and events into a single, unified view. This makes it easy to get a complete overview of your whole schedule in once place.
Calendar modes
When editing your schedule, it’s important to be aware that the calendar has two distinct modes for managing your availability and coaching sessions; and behaves differently depending on the current mode.
You can switch modes by clicking on the Availability or Sessions in the calendar sidebar.
Availability mode
In Availability Mode you can add, edit and delete your availability schedule. All sessions and events are hidden while on this mode to make it easier for you to work with availability.

Event mode
In Event Mode the calendar displays your full schedule including all coaching sessions and other calendar events. This is the mode you use to view and schedule coaching sessions. Your availability schedule is also shown as a tinted background for context, but is not actually editable in this mode.

Calendar types
In event mode, Satori displays your sessions, busy periods and other calendar events in separate event calendars which are listed in the sidebar.
You can change the colour of each event calendar to visually differentiate the corresponding events. This is useful when you want to clearly distinguish your coaching sessions from any other events that Satori may have synced from your connected calendars.
Session calendar
The session calendar displays all client and group session that have been scheduled through Satori. This calendar is interactive. You can add new sessions and reschedule existing sessions via drag-and-drop gestures.
Busy periods calendar
Busy periods are a way to mark periods of time as unavailable that would otherwise be included in your general availability. Generally, this is only necessary if you haven’t set up calendar syncing on your account. With calendar syncing, Satori automatically monitors your connected calendars and updates your availability accordingly to prevent conflicts with other events.
Connected calendars
If you’ve connected Satori to a Google Calendar account, Satori will display your selected calendars here. This helps you to see your availability and coaching schedule relative to any other appointments you may have outside of Satori.
Note: You can’t currently edit the events on connected calendars through Satori. If you need to change these events, you can do so through your regular calendar client (e.g. Google Calendar). Satori will pick up your changes via calendar syncing.
